Costs
HomeLonger provides a new option for older adults who can manage their own care from home. Unlike other in home care providers who bill by the hour, we offer a monthly subscription to our services. No matter how many times you call or how many home visits our care managers make, the monthly subscription cost remains the same.
A one-year subscription to HomeLonger’s Inspired Living Care Management program costs less than the typical cost for two months of facility-based care. In fact, the cost of our services compares favorably to most of the traditional care alternatives. And unlike other service providers, we are able to tailor our services for each individual. We work with each client to determine the right mix of services to meet that client's specific needs and budget.
Additional costs may arise for third-party services not included in subscription that we arrange for a client, such as assistance from home health aides, grocery shopping, house cleaning, cooking, or snow shoveling—but we do not charge the client for our coordination of these third-party services.
For those individuals who wish to be proactive in planning for their independence but do not yet have significant needs, our Inspired Living and Inspired Health Packages provides options that incorporate services you might already be paying for anyway, hence allowing you to become part of the HomeLonger network before a crisis or serious problem occurs!
Although Medicare does not typically pay for HomeLonger services, some long term care insurance plans may.
