Why HomeLonger?
HomeLonger by INSPIRIS believes that successful aging is about preserving your physical and mental health for as long as possible. It does not matter how old or how young you are, the opportunity still exists to live life with purpose and passion.
Why HomeLonger?
HomeLonger was created to provide highly personalized solutions to a situation that thousands of people face every day: how to provide services for an adult who wants to maintain their independence and stay in their home. By choosing HomeLonger, you are choosing an option that has benefits for everyone.
- Above all else, HomeLonger provides a coordinated package of services that are managed on your behalf through your dedicated Lifestyle Care Manager. Our services run the spectrum from professional concierge services for all your lifestyle needs, to in-home care management. Remember, as a HomeLonger client, you have one number to call to access your program benefits – let us do the work for you.
- HomeLonger’s in-home care management program is specifically designed to address the primary obstacles to remaining safe at home. This includes home safety, medication management, age-related issues, and the risk of fall or injury to name a few. By monitoring incremental health changes, we can help stabilize chronic illness and our Lifestyle Care Managers work closely with clients to manage medication and reduce other risks.
- We truly believe in the restorative power of human contact. HomeLonger hires health and wellness professionals who are highly qualified and dedicated, but we also ask them to be caring and compassionate. The personal relationships we develop with our clients are strong and genuine.
- Nine out of ten adults age 65+ want to remain in their own homes and communities as they age – yet a third of them fall at least once a year, 50% of them have problems managing their medications, and nearly 7% have at least one chronic condition. By empowering adults to effectively manage their own healthcare from home, we relieve a worrisome burden that often affects not only our clients but members of their families as well.
- In-home health services and monitoring has been shown to reduce emergency room visits by as much as 80% and hospitalizations by as much as 90%. We can employ state-of-the-art technology if desired, that is unobtrusive and easy to use, facilitating personal independence while providing monitoring tools that are both reliable and constant.
- HomeLonger does not replace the medical professionals who are already working closely with mature adults. Instead, we partner with physicians to enhance their relationships with our clients – and enable them to provide better, more comprehensive healthcare.
Living at Home…Longer
With the services provided by HomeLonger, adults can stay safe and healthy without having to give up their homes or their way of life.
The emotional benefits of being at home are undeniable – the personal space and privacy, the reassurance of familiar surroundings, the pleasures of a vibrant neighborhood community, the comfort of seeing your own possessions around you. Compared with mature adults who move out of their home, HomeLonger clients can spend more time with friends and families and enjoy as much independence as they choose. For many of our clients, the ability to remain at home translates directly into health benefits by fostering a happier outlook, a greater willingness to monitor a chronic condition, and a more positive approach to medical treatment in general.
Yet even as HomeLonger encourages personal independence, we also provide protection against a medical crisis or emergency. The monitoring and frequent personal contact offered ensures that none of our clients are left to cope with a problem on their own. HomeLonger services also alleviate unwanted stress and tension with a family by providing a comprehensive solution that works for everyone.
Living at home can contribute greatly to an individual’s overall health and wellbeing – and HomeLonger is here to bring these benefits to every client we serve.
